I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a wife, and mom. I enjoy spending time out in God's creation, reading my Bible, hugging my family, running, drinking tea, inhaling frozen yogurt, using way to many exclamation points, watching reruns of Friends, and of course, taking and processing photos! It is seriously such a joy to go through the photo taking process with each client! From establishing a relationship to the final sharing of a finished gallery. I cherish every second of my clients time and the creative process that goes along with each session.
THE JOURNEY
I have always been a creative person. Growing up, I would spend countless hours making "works of art" with junk out of our so called "craft box". I later became interested in digital art and photography. I had the most tech savy, hot pink, digital camera that was my pride and joy for a while. I lost touch with my interest in photography while in high school. When my husband and I got engaged in 2015 we had engagement portraits taken and it was so much fun! I kept thinking about having a job like that, and I just couldn't get it out of my mind. A few weeks later I was asked to take a friend of mine's senior photos. I borrowed her mother's DSLR camera and read up on how to pose seniors. That session was so much fun and I really felt that I had a passion for photography! Many prayers and a couple weeks later, I asked my fiance at the time, if he would take a leap of faith with me and help me pursue this career. He was all on board and that's all I needed to go full steam a head! I've invested so much of my heart into this career. Through trial and error, tears and joy I have developed skills that I feel will make people feel lovely and excited! I strive to make each client remember these important events in their lives. Every moment is special.
MY FAITH
Jesus Christ is my everything. He is the creator of the universe and my heart. God sent His only Son, to take upon every sin, to die, and to raise again conquering death forever! I am the worst of the sinners and am only made righteous and pure by the blood of my Jesus. Because of this amazing love, my mission above all is to live a life glorifying to Christ! He paid it all, all to Him I owe!
MY FAMILY
I am married to a man I am so very blessed to be in love with. God has so lovingly gifted me with the love of my life. We are absolutely the best of friends and cherish each other as much as we can. He is my support system and my mentor. He has been guiding me throughout my photography journey, constantly pointing me to Christ and His promises. I would not have been able to pursue this job without him.
In the summer of 2018, our little family grew to 3! We have a son that we call Lars. He is the sweetest little blessing and we could not be more thankful for him. We were blessed with another sweet babe, Goldie in the summer of 2021. We are blessed beyond measure.
We love to spend time together riding bikes, going for walks, watching the Office on repeat and serving in our local church!
